Wicker Doll Pram for sale in Fairbanks, Alaska

$155

This collectible child-size (not a miniature) doll pram is called a push-chair and was made by Edeltraut Hofmann Collections in West Germany.

It is a copy of an old Victorian wicker push-chair and has a wooden handle, metal frame and wheels with rubber tires, and high quality cotton and lace lining.

Edeltraut Hofmann was a world renoun producer of wicker prams.

Their first full-size prams were made in 1955 in the town of Worlsdorf which is in the center of the German wicker industry.

Sometime later they extended their range to include a delightful collection of toy prams, push-chairs and dolls furniture.

The factory is now owned by Klaus Jurgen Hofmann, son of the founder, who has maintained the highest level of craftsmanship for which this factory is known.

The continued use of the best quality wicker has also ensured Edeltraut Hofmann remains as one of the most important producers of high value nostalgic prams, cribs and furniture in the world. This pram was only used to display dolls so it is in excellent condition.
