The Alaska Heritage House offers perfect accommodations for visitors coming to Fairbanks for a few days, or weeks to work or play, or for people waiting for permanent housing, and want unique and elegant temporary housing at a low price. Our daily rates start at $119 per night for a room with a shared bath ($425/wk.). Standard room rate with a private bath is $139 per night, and $550 per week. Our Suites with a kitchen are mostly booked till August, but we have a few open days. The Suite rate is $195/day. Daily prices include a full gormet home-cooked breakfast. Use of the laundry is free and weekly housekeeping is provided for extended stay guests. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and Cable TV. All guests may use of the common areas of the house. The Alaska Heritage House Bed & Breakfast is located at 410 Cowles Street, which is on the bus line and an easy three block walk to the heart of downtown Fairbanks. Although built in 1916 (listed as the "Mary Lee Davis House" on the National Registry of Historic Homes), the Alaska Heritage House was restored to its original appearance in 2008, but doesn't skimp on modern conveniences. Our three standard rooms all have private bathrooms; mini refrigerators; cable television, wireless internet connectivity, and in-room coffee service. Our three suites have fully equipped kitchens and can accommodate up to four persons. All rooms are furnished with period antiques, sumptuous window treatments, ball and claw soaking tubs (with showers), a laundry facility, and use of the main living areas of the house.
